COLLINSVILLE, Conn., June 18, 2024 — Goodroot has been named to Inc.’s annual Best Workplaces list for 2024. The list includes American companies that have excelled in creating exceptional workplaces and company cultures.
Goodroot, a community of companies reinventing healthcare one system at a time, is in the category of companies with 50-99 employees and received a rounded total score of 94 out of 100, which was higher than average even among Best Workplaces finalists. Ninety percent of employees at Goodroot considered themselves “highly engaged,” and they described their work environment as “collaborative.”

The survey included several open-ended questions that were optional for employees. One anonymous Goodroot employee wrote: “If you have a leader who has great ideas, looks for others who have great ideas, and values the importance of a strong team, the rest down the line will follow suit. I could not imagine working anywhere else. We all value the importance of getting our jobs done, but we also have a ton of fun in the process.”

Thousands of companies applied to be recognized as one of the best workplaces in the U.S., but only a fraction made the cut. “Each year, Inc.’s Best Workplaces program recognizes the very best in terms of companies that have fostered a truly amazing culture,” says Inc. editor-in-chief Mike Hofman. “We use hard metrics and data as well as qualitative measures for judging in order to find the very best — and we’re proud that the program is highly selective.”
After collecting data from thousands of submissions, Inc. selected 543 honorees this year. Each company that was nominated took part in an employee survey, conducted by Quantum Workplace, which included topics such as management effectiveness, perks, fostering employee growth, and overall company culture. The organization’s benefits were also audited to determine overall score and ranking.
